Why won't my dog bark?

My dog won't bark and is afraid of everything. But she does act like a normal dog. I got her from my friend that made them have puppies and she got her from a shelter there is a possibility she was abuse. I only had her for 3years plz answer my question of y my dog wont bark

I been having the birth control implant in my arm for almost two years. and i used to have unprotected sex all the time and nothing ever happen. because I have never gotten a period really since I got the implant. but if I have a small period and then have sex could I get pregnant :/ or am I already possibly pregnant I have read somewhere that shortly after conception you might bleed lightly for a few days. and because it's not normal for me. I wad wondering if this was a possibility.

Tiny Rash-Like Bumps ALL OVER My Face!!!?

About two days ago I woke up and my face was broken out. It was definitely NOT acne. It looks like a bunch of little bumps all over my face (i.e. chin, cheeks, forehead, behind my ears). They're dry and flaky and quite irritating. They're not itchy, but they kind of make my face feel tight (this is the best way I can describe it, so bare with me please). So my mom thinks I'm having an allergic reaction to something new in the house...which could be a possibility of things!! I just recently got a kitten last week. I have had cats before and nothing like this has happened. Although allergies can take effect at any time. But if that's the case, then why isn't the rest of my body broke out? Especially my hands? Then there's the new face cleanser that my sister bought (which that's what I think it is). She has really bad allergies so she bought a new L'OREAL skin cleanser (go 360 clean deep facial cleanser). I have only used it once. I used it that night and woke up with my face like this the next morning. But it's been two days and my face has only gotten worse!! Maybe it was something I ate. I do have a peanut allergy. But I can't recall anything that could have even possibly had peanuts in it. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Could someone at least give me a home remedy so that I could make this go away?! It's killing my self-esteem and I'm already sort of depressed. This is doing nothing but making it worse :( PLEASE HELP!!! I've head a bunch of diagnosis such as irritant contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, detoxification, etc. I have no clue what it is! I really need some help.

Eventually, it got to the point where she was weaned off the Flagyll and I attested it to the food. However, the vet says she might have just grown out of the IBS. Hello everybody; I have a 4 year old female Cocker Spaniel, she is very active and healthy and I used to feed her by hand, (it was the only way for her to eat) I got tired of doing that so I stop and I'm trying to make her eat by herself, I start by putting her food down for 15min. and if she didn't eat I"ll picked it up I do it twice a day at the same time, I take her for a 45min. run every evening and this method still don't work, I have been doing this for two weeks, what else can I do? I think I missed my period, what do?

Okay so I'm 17, and I think I've missed my period. It usually comes around the 23rd, sometimes the 21st or 25th, but now it's the 27th and I'm not even showing signs of it being on the way. The luck few find themselves in rescue but they are so many who don't. Most have awful medical problems which have never been treated. The puppies they produce are poorly breed and are often ill. If they do survive most are usually sickly dog . Puppy farms are cruel and cause nothing but suffering. Even if the pupy doesn' come from a puppy farm but a back yard breeder you will get a poorly breed puppy that may be cheap but in the long run could cost you alot more in both vet bills and heartache. Buying from a reputablle breed is alway the way to go. there care about there dogs and puppies . I am not sure what the average price is for them but your best bet is to look on the kennel club site who have lists of breeder with puppies and clubs. If you ring a breed club they can advice you on a fare price to pay and maybe able to help you find a good breeder.

Lump on my dogs upper front leg?

My dog has suddenly developed an odd looking lump on the top of her front right leg. It's odd because it actually looks like a piece of sweetcorn stuck to her. ok, tuesday i went to the doctors and my doctor was going through my symptoms, and right away she asked if my thyroid gland was always swollen. i replied "it's always looked like that?" because i have never known anything different. she felt around on my neck and said that my gland was defiantly very swollen. they did a bunch of blood work and said that she would contact us when she had any information. she said that i might have an overactive thyroid, i was wondering if that can run in the family. my grandfather had to have his thyroid removed because he had an overactive thyroid and medication wasn't working for him. i've noticed that where my thyroid gland is gets sore sometimes. she said that it was a high possibility because i'm underweight and VERY underdevolped =(. so, if anybody has this problem, can you tell me some signs and symptoms of an overactive thyroid? or a website that can give me some info? thanks~!

Tiny Rash-Like Bumps ALL OVER My Face!!!?

About two days ago I woke up and my face was broken out. It was definitely NOT acne. It looks like a bunch of little bumps all over my face (i.e. chin, cheeks, forehead, behind my ears). Then there's the new face cleanser that my sister bought (which that's what I think it is). She has really bad allergies so she bought a new L'OREAL skin cleanser (go 360 clean deep facial cleanser). I have only used it once. I used it that night and woke up with my face like this the next morning. But it's been two days and my face has only gotten worse!! Maybe it was something I ate. I do have a peanut allergy. But I can't recall anything that could have even possibly had peanuts in it. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Could someone at least give me a home remedy so that I could make this go away?! It's killing my self-esteem and I'm already sort of depressed. My 15 year old dog just had a strange episode please help.?

He is a 15 year old Brittany Spaniel, hunted for the first 10 years of his life and has relaxed for the past five. I expected him to die quite a few years ago but, he keeps on kicking. He's never once had a seizure but just now he got up from sleeping. YES. springers are made to hunt, and that's what they do. i have a 1 year old female and every time she goes outside she's on a trail. if she sees a cat or a squirrel or something she bolts.....as long as it moves, a springer will chase it. we have a neighborhood rabbit that hangs around in our yard and our dog chases it every time she's outside. we started taking her out on a leash and have her trained to sit and stay when she sees it, but she wants to chase it so bad that she literally shakes looking at it. and springers are smart, so if they see a cat in your neighborhood, they remember it's there and start looking for it every time they go out. springers are bred to track and chase....it's just in their instincts.

I have a 4.07 gpa for sophomore and junior years, 3.83 including freshmen year. I first took the SAT last month and scored 1870 on it. I am a second degree black belt and had a lot of extracurricular stuff having to do with that (although i had to quit freshmen year). As far a community service goes, well i'm working on it although i have at least 100 undocumented hours from the martial arts. I'm in my schools philosophy club. Also i will be doing hundreds of hours of an internship with southern california edison at a nuclear powerplant throughout my whole senior year. Problem is i live and have lived in california my whole life (hence the socal edison internship). So why would i be looking at Texas schools? I am deadset on petroleum engineering and the best programs are with these two schools. I know they get most of their students with the top ten percent texas schools thing. So as a californian, is it a good possibility i could get in?

Has anybody got advice on how to stop my dog barking at all other dogs?

I adopted a JRT from the dog shelter almost 3 months ago. He is about 7 years old with an unknown history. In the house he is quite good after initially being a bit too possessive over me i.e growling at my partner. But outside can be a real problem. He goes absolutely crazy when he knows it's walk time. Shaking and whimpering. I have tried waiting until he calms down, but he doesn't. It just turns into a howl. Since buying a control harness he has also reduced the pulling and is nice to walk until we see another dog. No matter how far away he starts barking and this will continue long after the dog is out of sight. He is not really trying to pull towards the dog all the time and usually he is in play position. He is oblivious to any treats (even his favourites) when we are out. The few times that somebody has let their dog come over, he appears that he wants to play and then jumps on their head and upsets them. There has been some snarling and scuffles but I am not sure who started it. He even pushed a spaniel over and stood on it's stomach. The owner was trying to help by letting them play but Max does not play nice. Now nobody comes near us. A couple of times we have suddenly come face to face with a dog and if it's an old uninterested dog he is fine. I can't let Max off the lead as he has run away from me twice which has caused immense stress and upset. I am a loss what to do as I think he needs to socialise bit it has turned into an incident almost every time I have let him near a dog. We got put in a separate waiting room at the vets and he was being aggressive to all the dogs that came near us. I have tried the water pistol and I have tried putting him on his back to calm down. Neither work although once the dog is out of sight he will often roll over onto his back and look up at me. I am prepared to get some help but it's expensive so am willing to try anything myself first. Thanks for reading,

Boagie our cocker spaniel, when we leave our house we lock him up in a crate.we do this because he tears up the house if we don't. He has been really great about the crate until recently. He has been trying to escape and got his head stuck in one of the plastic crates and one of the metal fold up crates. He has been using his teeth to bend the metal bars on the doors. The last two time there has been a lot of blood. If he keeps it up he won't have any teeth. What do we do?

Why is our 4 year old Cocker Spaniel losing teeth?

She has horrid breath. We have had her teeth cleaned twice in the last year. It is huge expensive and I am afraid of the general anesthesia. Both times they extracted teeth, but said her remaining teeth were fine. She has horrid breath! We brush her teeth and we had adjusted her diet to a food that contains no animal by products, wheat or corn. We also give her dog bones that are supposed to clean her teeth and freshen breath. I took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative? Was it right?

I got my period the day after sex and it was heavy for 5 days. That was about 3 weeks ago. For those 3 weeks I was REALLY STRESSED because I didnt wanna be pregnant. 2 days ago I got a light bleeding that lasted a day. People said it could have been from stressing too much because I had a low possibility of being pregnant. Besides from the light bleeding I have NO pregnancy symptoms. I took a blue dye EPT -/+ pregnancy test and it came out negative but when you look closer it looks like a faint positive. I did some research and many woman complained the same thing and that the blue dye is no good because it can seep into the vertical line making it look like a positive..At first it appeared as a negative. Then an hour later I checked and a faint positive appeared. A warning appears that if a faint positive appears after 10 minutes of taking the test I should ignore it. So does that means im still not pregnant?

I have played the clarinet for 6 years and have gotten pretty good on it. However, I've never really enjoyed playing it very much so I want to learn a new instrument. I'll continue on with the clarinet, but I would love to learn the violin. My question is, I only have two more years of high school in which to learn the violin before college- would this be enough time for me to be on the same level of others in a college orchestra? Pregnant with Mirena IUD?

Ive had the Mirena IUD for 8 months now, & a regular period every month since then. Except this month of June. No period, but slight cramping & lower back aches, & some headaches along with slight nausea. My dog wont walk go for a walk?

Ever since bonfire night last year my dog hasn't wanted to go on walks, sometimes, other times he will go fine. He is a two and a halve year old Cocker Spaniel, who used to go out 3 times a day, now he's struggling to get one. He will go on the garden fine and play around but most of the time when you put his harness and lead on he wont walk out the door or gate. I dropped my Cocker Spaniel ( Who Means everything to me) off to get her hair cut at the grooming facilities at our Petsmart store here in the city. I was called 3 hours later to be told that un unfortunate accident occurred and that my dog was Transferred across the hall to the Pet Hospital for stitches. They explained over the phone to me that while shaving the dogs head, she (licked) the clippers and lacerated her tongue. I proceeded to ask when I could come to get her and they said they would call--- they never called- about 3 hours later I call them and they explain that shes still unconcious, hooked up to a catheter and an IV. I leave immediately to arrive to all the higher ups consoling me, as at this point I am crying and very confused, knowing that somethings are not making sense. They hand me a plastic bag that has her leash and collar inside (soaking wet and ruined) they say "we accidentally "dropped" these in water) sorry". I ask to see my dog, they refuse as she was taking some time to "come out of it". Finally, I recieve her back, and shes playful, but very lethargic due to the drugs- The Doctor tells me for 10 days, twice a day she is to be on a strict soft food regimen, and is required to have her medicine twice a day- to have an entire day open for the appointment to remove the stitches. They told me they would all be calling me personally to see what the progress of the dog was over the next couple of days. The receptionist added "honestly, your taking this a lot worse than your dog is" and pointed out that the blood all over her jacket was that of my dog. They didnt charge me for the surgeries they performed or the groom that was HALF performed. They offered (but never gave me) a coupon for a free groom for next time. After returning home, I continued to observe my dog as she bled through her stitches, yelped and cried throughout the night. The following day, I heard not one word from Petsmart. None of the employees called to check like they said or anything, the only call that I recieved was from the receptionist at the hospital- she left a message. I still dont know the name of the actual person who groomed my dog. They told me "she was only scheduled until 5", as I stood there at 5:15pm. demanding to know what was really going on. So Now, I have written to Corporate and they write back saying it may take 3 to 5 days to hear back on their personal resolution, meanwhile Im working on keeping my dog as comfortable as possible. I have no idea how to handle this!! Please offer me your advice- what would you do??
