I'm moving to Houston!?

So my best friend lives in a 2 bedrm apt in Houston and I'm moving down there and I'm really scared because now i live in a shelter and I'll have to leave here when I'm 25 which is in October I have money saved up and my stuff is pack I just can't get over my nerves and the possibilities and what ifs....I need to put my 30 day notice in today or tomorrow I'm so nervous. This move will be great for me, she'll work out with me and I can finally live my life and I'll be in school and working as well...how do people get over the moving nerves!Also she is the only person I know in Texas!
