I have a house rabbit and my family are considering buying a dog (Caviler Spaniel).Would they be ok together?

We have a dwarf lop house rabbit and my sister would like to have a pet also, she has decided she wants a Caviler King Charles Spaniel, does anyone know if this would be alright? If we do get one it will be a puppy.
