Can some one help me please!!!?

I want to know when does my 4 month old English cocker spaniel start growing long hair? and also when will she stop growing? she is my first cocker but I never had a puppy of my own she lives with my 5 yr old French poodle and are best friends please answer my question if you know alot of this breed it will be appreciated
