How do you house train a 4 month old puppy?

ok my dog is a cocker spaniel, he pees in the house, and when we feed him he drops a bomb (if you know what i mean..) and my sister Jazz (I call my sister Jasmine Jazzy or Jazz) hits our dog Rexx when he pees/drops a bomb in the house,and we feed him outside and me and my sisters Jazzy and Lauri and my friend Desiree stay outside nd listen to music, my parents work all day so I stay with my neices and my sisters, so yah how do i train my 4 month old puppy?
