Learning the Violin...?

I have played the clarinet for 6 years and have gotten pretty good on it. However, I've never really enjoyed playing it very much so I want to learn a new instrument. I'll continue on with the clarinet, but I would love to learn the violin. My question is, I only have two more years of high school in which to learn the violin before college- would this be enough time for me to be on the same level of others in a college orchestra? Or is this completely out of the realm of possibility? Thank you.
