Why won't my dog bark?

My dog won't bark and is afraid of everything. But she does act like a normal dog. I got her from my friend that made them have puppies and she got her from a shelter there is a possibility she was abuse. I only had her for 3years plz answer my question of y my dog wont bark

Is man responsible for the Mississippi flooding this year?

It may be like that age-old question, "If a tree falls in the woods where no one is there to hear, does it make a sound?" Similarly, if people weren't living beside the Mississippi, would we still call it a flood? People always seem to manage to make natural disasters worse than they should be by careless building in dangerous places and making cockamamie decisions. The Endangered Species Act signed by Nixon has been abused since it was enacted. It seems these well meaning Republicans are always seem to be signing these feel good legislation and agencies that end up having catastrophic unforeseen and unintended consequences. If Man were declared an endangered species, maybe we could have some protection from these feel good laws. Perhaps we could use AGW and declare man as the most endangered species and therefore deserving of extra protrection.

Can you get pregnant if..... ?

I been having the birth control implant in my arm for almost two years. and i used to have unprotected sex all the time and nothing ever happen. because I have never gotten a period really since I got the implant. but if I have a small period and then have sex could I get pregnant :/ or am I already possibly pregnant I have read somewhere that shortly after conception you might bleed lightly for a few days. and because it's not normal for me. I wad wondering if this was a possibility.

Tiny Rash-Like Bumps ALL OVER My Face!!!?

About two days ago I woke up and my face was broken out. It was definitely NOT acne. It looks like a bunch of little bumps all over my face (i.e. chin, cheeks, forehead, behind my ears). They're dry and flaky and quite irritating. They're not itchy, but they kind of make my face feel tight (this is the best way I can describe it, so bare with me please). So my mom thinks I'm having an allergic reaction to something new in the house...which could be a possibility of things!! I just recently got a kitten last week. I have had cats before and nothing like this has happened. Although allergies can take effect at any time. But if that's the case, then why isn't the rest of my body broke out? Especially my hands? Then there's the new face cleanser that my sister bought (which that's what I think it is). She has really bad allergies so she bought a new L'OREAL skin cleanser (go 360 clean deep facial cleanser). I have only used it once. I used it that night and woke up with my face like this the next morning. But it's been two days and my face has only gotten worse!! Maybe it was something I ate. I do have a peanut allergy. But I can't recall anything that could have even possibly had peanuts in it. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Could someone at least give me a home remedy so that I could make this go away?! It's killing my self-esteem and I'm already sort of depressed. This is doing nothing but making it worse :( PLEASE HELP!!! I've head a bunch of diagnosis such as irritant contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, detoxification, etc. I have no clue what it is! I really need some help.

Do cocker spaniels get along well with other dogs?

ok so in my house we have lily, a 2 year old pure bred cocker spaniel, peaches, a 6 month old tea cup chiuaua and daisy, a 11 year old lab/husky mix... they all get along pretty well but we are looking into getting another cocker spaniel, we are wondering if lily would have trouble adjusting to another similar dog... like would their be an issue over whos the best cocker spaniel between the two of them?
